The film is set in the same universe as The Hobbit but in a very different fantasy world, where dragons rule, a race of humanoids are ruled by the dwarves, and Smaug the giant is hunted.
The Hobbit The Descendant – This adaptation of the film has an incredibly deep cast, with Ian Holm as Smaug, Laura Linney as Gollumb, Ben Kingsley as Frodo, and Daniel Craig as Bilbo.
The Despot – In this movie, a man from the far reaches of the world takes control of a kingdom by the power of magic.
The cast includes Michael Shannon, Ian Holman, Michael Gambon, and Mark Strong.
