India has witnessed a spate of robberies, and the country’s new gun laws are forcing the authorities to crack down.
According to reports, an armed man, identified as G.V.K., was seen carrying a pistol and a revolver at a bank in the city of Hyderabad.
He asked a customer to withdraw cash, but when the man didn’t, he went to the ATM and tried to open it.
He then threatened the person, asking him to withdraw his money.
The customer, identified only as N.G., then went to his house to take his wife and child out.
But the man started threatening him and grabbed his guns, telling him that he would shoot them all.
When N.B. reached his house, he saw the man outside with a weapon in his hands and the ATM had been robbed.
He told the robber to stop but the robber ignored him.
N.V., who was also present at the ATM, tried to call for help but the man took off.
When the robber managed to flee, he chased N.K. and grabbed the gun from him.
“He shot me in the chest.
He shot me several times.
I was trying to stop him,” said N. K.
