The Fast & the Furious 6 is set to open in theaters on February 10, 2018, and the movie will feature the return of Harrison Ford, Vin Diesel and more, Variety has learned exclusively.
“It’s a tough film, but I’m sure we’re going to get a lot of fun out of it,” the Fast & The Furious 6 director told Variety.
“There’s a lot to see in this film.
We’ve been shooting this for months, and we’re all excited about this one.”
The Fast & Furious 6 will be directed by Justin Lin and written by Rian Johnson and Paul Walker, and stars Harrison Ford and Vin Diesel.
The film also stars Michael B. Jordan, Paul Walker and John Travolta.
The plot synopsis says, “The Fast and Furious 6 reunites Ford, Dwayne Johnson and the rest of the gang for an action-packed adventure that pits them against the fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex and the ferocious Bad Guys, in an epic adventure set in a world of dinosaurs, super villains, guns, and big-screen action.”
“I was a fan of the original Fast & Freakin’ and loved the movie,” Ford told Variety, “but it’s been over 25 years since the last Fast & Fakes, so this is going to take some getting used to.
But it’s definitely going to make for a fun ride.”
Diesel is reprising his role of Big-Screen Big-Tit Boy, who was killed off in the first Fast & Family.
“I’m excited to be back,” Diesel told Variety at the end of the film’s production.
“It’s just a matter of time before this is the next one, and there’s no telling what we’ll see.”
The film also includes the return and revival of the iconic Badger, an alien villain who first appeared in the 1995 film of the same name.
“Badger is back, and he’s not just back as an alien, he’s back as a villain,” Johnson said in a statement.
“We’re bringing back the best bad guys in the world and I can’t wait to bring him to life.”
