A new trailer for ‘The Bride of Emily’, a drama starring Emily Blunt, has been released by Netflix.
It sees the film debuting on October 10.
The trailer opens with Emily’s parents (Derek Wilson and Julie Andrews) telling her “the wedding of Emily” to a very solemn, “You’re going to be here for a long time, Emily”, before saying goodbye.
It also shows Emily sitting in her new wedding dress with her groom, her husband, her brother and her two children in attendance.
We can also see Emily’s mother standing next to her, which may suggest that the film’s lead character, Sarah (Samantha Bee), is her mother.
The film is set in a futuristic world where Emily’s father (Tim Robbins) and brother (Adam Scott) are also alive.
There’s a trailer for the film, which you can check out below.
It’s the latest in a string of dramas to debut on Netflix, with ‘The Good Wife’, ‘House of Cards’, ‘The Crown’, ‘Orange Is the New Black’, ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Sense8’, ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Divergent’ all already available.
